Privacy Policy for Local AI

Our Privacy Promise

Your privacy is not just a policy; it is the entire purpose of our application, "Local AI" ("the App"). We designed this app from the ground up to be 100% private and 100% offline.

This Privacy Policy explains, in the simplest terms, how we handle (or, more accurately, do not handle) your data.

The short version: We collect nothing. We see nothing. We store nothing. We share nothing. Everything stays on your device.

1. How Your Data is Handled

All processing, including all AI computations, is performed exclusively on your device.

Your data, which includes your text prompts and the AI-generated responses (collectively, "Conversation Data"), never leaves your device.

We, the developers of Local AI, have no technical ability or access to view, read, collect, or store any of your Conversation Data.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We are proud to state that we do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

  • Personal Information: We do not ask for, collect, or have access to your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal identifiers.
  • Conversation Data: We do not collect your prompts or the AI's responses. Your chat history is stored only on your own device and can be deleted by you at any time.
  • Usage Analytics: We do not track your in-app activity, such as what buttons you press or how often you use the App.
  • Device or Technical Data: We do not collect your device's unique ID (UDID/IMEI), IP address, or any other technical information.

3. Data We May Receive (Non-Personal)

To be perfectly transparent, the only "data" we may receive comes from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not from the App itself. This data is:

  • Anonymized Sales & Download Data: We can see how many times the App has been downloaded or purchased, in an aggregated, anonymous format (e.g., "100 downloads in Türkiye").
  • Anonymized Crash Reports: If the App crashes, the app store (Apple or Google) may provide us with an anonymized crash log to help us fix the bug. This report contains no personal data or conversation content.

This data is provided by the app stores, is completely anonymous, and cannot be linked to you or your in-app activity.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no data at all, we are inherently compliant with laws protecting children's privacy.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in the future, for example, if app store policies change. If we do, we will notify you by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website.
